About Us

John and Margaret Weigelt came to New Life as a result of a merger of two churches in 1992. In 1998 John was selected to serve as Pastor. John became a Christian in 1972 and has served in a variety of positions in different churches including Youth Director, assistant to the Pastor, Associate Pastor, and now as Senior Pastor. John completed a three-year School of Ministry program with New Life and also completed a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Counseling.

Margaret Weigelt is one of New Life's Overseers and is on staff as the Church Office Administrator. She maintains the Church Management Program (membership, contributions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.) and leads the Finance Team (Offering Counters). She also maintains the church calendars and schedules as well as many other essential duties - including Greeting and Children's Ministry teacher. Margaret also completed a three-year School of Ministry program with New Life.

Carolina Romero is one of New Life's Overseers and serves on the Board of Directors. She is also the Children's Ministsry Director for New Life which includes our Toddlers, Children, and Middle School ages. Carolina has gained valuable experience while serving on the mission field for approximately 8 years with Operation Mobilization-Ships Ministry.

Shelly Roberts is our Worship Team Director. She also presently serves on the Board of Directors for New Life.
